Wednesday 26th November 2014
Today we had a party of 18 in the restaurant who were from The Red Cross. They were celebrating their many years of service as volunteers in hospitals as they are to be replaced by NHS volunteers. They were all very sad to be losing the opportunity to serve the community with a well recognised uniform and organisation which has provided many years of service. Many thanks to you all for your hard work.
We also had Christmas in for a table of six, what a wonderful name for this time of year. We also had a lady last night with the same surname and she was joining the Coeliac Christmas Dinner party. This lunchtime we also had three other tables which gave us 40 in total for service.
